Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant at Providence
Join Providence as a full-time Teaching/Therapeutic Assistant supporting young children's development in Calgary. Engage with children through play-based learning and interdisciplinary teamwork every weekday.

As part of an established charity, the full-time Teaching/Therapeutic Assistant role requires an adaptable and energetic individual ready to contribute positively to classroom settings. You will apply your knowledge of child development to assist in implementing individualized programs under the guidance of classroom teachers and collaborate with a team of therapists and educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver care per children's Individual Program Plans

• Engage children through play-based learning strategies

• Collaborate with teachers and therapists in planning

• Maintain positive communication with parents/guardians

• Provide personal care and emotional support for children

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in relevant field

• Minimum one year of classroom experience preferred

• Experience with special needs children highly desirable

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
