About the Role

We are looking for On‑Call Teachers qualified for Early Childhood Education Level 1/2 to work at Fueling Brains Academy in Calgary, Alberta.

Pay: $15/hr‑$17/hr, plus benefits and professional development.

• Collaborate with classroom teams for planning and implementation of weekly lesson plans
• Plan open‑ended activities with an emphasis on process orientation and a developmentally appropriate curriculum with age‑appropriate and individualized activities
• Report challenges, successes, and competencies of each student to the director or to parents on a regular basis
• Supervise the classroom, helping children to think creatively, to solve problems independently, and respect themselves and others
• Ensure an educational, caring, and safe environment for the children
• Assist children with self‑care (e.g., dressing, diapering, feeding)
• Other duties as assigned by lead teachers and program supervisors

• Minimum one year of experience working with children
• Early Childhood Certification – ECE Level 1/2
• Reggio‑inspired or Montessori experience is an asset
• Current First Aid Certificate (may be obtained upon hire)
• Criminal record check, with vulnerable sector check, within the past 6 months (may be obtained upon hire)
