YMCA Recreational Programs Instructor

Join the YMCA of the National Capital Region as a Recreational Programs Instructor.

This role offers an engaging environment focused on the development of children and teens in Rockland, Ontario.

As a CYF Instructor, you will implement and facilitate a range of recreational services that foster a sense of safety and community. Your responsibilities include supervising participants and aiding their physical and emotional development. Upholding YMCA’s values will be central to your role, ensuring a positive experience for all involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate quality recreational activities for youth

• Collaborate with team members in program planning

• Ensure the safety and well-being of program participants

• Provide excellent customer service to all members

• Communicate concerns with the CYF Coordinator

Requirements:

• High School Diploma; post-secondary education an asset

• Previous experience in youth programs

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Standard First Aid and CPR certification

• Valid work permit in Canada
