Position: Lead Teacher for Junior Preschool
Join Fueling Brains Academy as a Lead Teacher at our Junior Preschool in Calgary, Alberta. Shape young minds while fostering a high-quality, engaging learning environment aligned with executive function development.

In this full-time role, you will anchor a homeroom and guide preschool-aged children aged 3–5 years. Collaborating with Group Educators, you will lead daily routines, design lesson plans, and create an inviting classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and independence.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring children's safety and adapting programming to their unique learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily routines and structured learning sessions

• Design lesson plans aligned with executive function goals

• Create an engaging environment for independence

• Supervise children's activities indoors and outdoors

• Observe and assess executive function development

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Valid ECE Certification for Alberta

• Minimum 2 years of preschool teaching experience

• Familiarity with Montessori or Reggio Emilia approaches

• Strong leadership and communication skills
