Position: Full-Time Lead Tutor Position at YMCA
Empower youth through education as a Full-Time Lead Tutor at YMCA Calgary in South. You'll leverage your strong math tutoring skills to support students and volunteers in our community.

At YMCA Calgary, we are looking for a Lead Tutor to join our South location. This role requires your expertise in the Alberta high school math curriculum and your passion for working with youth. You will recruit and supervise volunteers, support tutoring sessions, and maintain relationships with schools while managing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit participants via in-school presentations

• Support in-person tutoring sessions at various locations

• Supervise approximately 100 professional volunteers

• Provide training and curriculum support for volunteers

• Maintain relationships with schools and community organizations

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Math, Science, or Education

• Strong knowledge of Alberta math curriculum

• Experience in tutoring and leading youth groups

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification
