Position: Computer Programming Instructor at Ambrose University
Shape the minds of future programmers as a Sessional Computer Programming Instructor at Ambrose University for Winter 2027. Teach CS 115 and guide students through essential computing concepts.

This contract appointment offers the chance to deliver a comprehensive introduction to computing. You will collaborate with the Chair of the Science Department while preparing course syllabi, teaching weekly classes, and assessing student performance. Ideal candidates demonstrate a commitment to effective student-centered teaching and possess deep knowledge of computer science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare course syllabi for CS 115 lectures

• Teach weekly classes and tutorials in computing

• Evaluate student progress and assign grades

• Collaborate with faculty colleagues effectively

• Integrate Christian perspectives into the curriculum (preferred)

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field

• Experience teaching undergraduate computer science courses

• Proven skills in programming and computer science

• Commitment to high-quality, student-centered teaching

• Must reside locally in Calgary, AB
