Job Summary
We are seeking a mission-driven professional to join our team. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of education, learning spaces, and a passion for student success. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to schools and universities, consulting with school, district, and university administrators to match their spatial and sensory needs with Oxilium’s cutting‑edge furniture and technology solutions.
You will be responsible for driving regional growth by introducing our solutions to new institutions and fostering long‑term educational partnerships.
- Advocate & Connect: Proactively introduce Oxilium’s solutions to school districts and university decision‑makers through targeted outreach, networking, educational trade shows, and community building.
- Consultative Discoveries: Conduct site walk‑throughs and classroom assessments to evaluate physical learning environments, offering insights on how flexible furniture can improve student engagement and equity.
- Inspirational Demonstrations: Deliver engaging virtual and in‑person product presentations that showcase how our solutions solve real‑world classroom challenges.
- Collaborative Design: Partner internally to build tailored project proposals and respond to district RFPs (Requests for Proposals).
- Pipeline & Project Management: Utilize our CRM to manage your outreach pipeline, accurately forecast project timelines, and balance multiple school transformations simultaneously.
- Post‑Sale Advocacy: Maintain relationships with schools post‑delivery, ensuring continued success.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience either teaching in a classroom (SPED/Inclusion focus highly preferred) or selling directly into the K‑16 educational market.
- Pedagogical Knowledge: A strong understanding of modern educational practices, including neuro‑inclusive design, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Social‑Emotional Learning (SEL).
- Communication
Skills:
Exceptional active listening, presentation, and storytelling abilities. - Resilience & Problem‑Solving: Comfort navigating the complex, multi‑layered procurement cycles of school districts, with the perseverance to overcome logistical hurdles.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel frequently for day trips to client sites, along with the flexibility for occasional overnight stays; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
