We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our diverse team of professionals as an Elementary Generalist. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality education that caters to the individual needs and abilities of our students. This role requires a deep understanding of various teaching methodologies, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Alberta curriculum and educational standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of individual students and groups.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes inquisitive thinking and self‑exploration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects that integrate various subject areas.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
• Foster strong partnerships with families, the Sikh temple, and the wider community to support students' holistic growth.

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent recognized by Alberta Education.
• Understanding of different teaching methodologies and multiple intelligences.
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Adaptable and flexible approach to teaching in a diverse environment.

• Teachers are required to cover their heads with a bandana while on school property, field trips, and professional development days.
• Teachers are required to bring vegetarian snacks and lunches (no meat, egg, or fish) while on school premises and during school hours.
