Position: Educational Support Role at Green Dome
Become an Educational Assistant at Green Dome Islamic School in Calgary, offering vital support to K-4 students starting August 2026. We're looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about fostering a supportive learning environment.

This part-time role involves 7.5 hours of work per week throughout the  school year. The successful candidate will show flexibility, patience, and creativity while working closely with educators and students. Preference will be given to those with prior classroom experience and literacy intervention familiarity to promote effective learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid teachers in classroom activities and student support

• Assist in literacy interventions and academic challenges

• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment

• Foster a positive, encouraging learning atmosphere

• Adapt strategies based on student needs and progress

Requirements:

• Previous experience in elementary education is preferred

• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation

• Commitment to the Islamic educational framework

• Valid Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check required

• Enthusiasm for promoting student learning
