In-Home Elementary Teacher

This position is for a dedicated educator, teaching grades 1 and 4 under a one-year contract. You will craft individualized lesson plans aligned with Alberta Education standards while incorporating hands-on activities and fostering a love for learning. The successful candidate will regularly assess student progress and maintain effective communication with parents about their child's development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan curriculum in language arts, math, science, and arts
• Differentiate instruction based on unique learning styles
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback
• Incorporate hands-on activities and diverse resources
• Maintain a structured and supportive homeschool environment
Requirements:
• Valid Alberta teaching certificate or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Education
• Experience in elementary education
• Knowledge of Alberta curriculum standards
• Passion for personalized, homeschooling education
