The full-time, fixed-term STEM Specialist role emphasizes inquiry-based, interdisciplinary learning through hands-on projects for holistic student development. Candidates will foster collaboration and problem-solving while integrating technology into lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan STEM lessons aligned with the Alberta Curriculum

• Facilitate project-based learning using the engineering design process

• Develop critical thinking and creativity among students

• Integrate subjects through engaging hands-on projects

• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility

• Bachelor’s in related field or education

• Minimum one year teaching experience preferred

• Knowledge of programming languages considered an asset

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
