Part-Time Choir Instructor

In this contract position, you will prepare lesson plans and collaborate closely with a piano accompanist. Candidates should possess an associated degree in arts or teaching, and ideally have experience working with various age groups. Your ability to foster a creative, safe environment will be key in delivering exceptional arts programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans and select suitable musical pieces

• Collaborate with the piano accompanist during classes

• Ensure participants' safety by adhering to health protocols

• Assist in enhancing arts programming initiatives

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

• Associated degree or diploma in relevant field

• Previous teaching or related experience required

• Current First Aid with CPR-C certification

• Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

• Availability for flexible hours including weekends
