Position: Sessional Instructor Position for Educational Psychology
Join the dynamic academic team at the University of Calgary’s Werklund School of Education as a Sessional Instructor this Fall 2026. Deliver graduate courses in Educational Psychology with an emphasis on online and campus-based learning.

The role spans from August 24 to December 18, 2026, with a focus on models of consultation in school psychology. Applicants should have a PhD or EdD along with a record of effective teaching and leadership within educational or university contexts. Candidates with online teaching experience are highly sought.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct courses in Educational Psychology and related concepts

• Guide students in consultation practices for school environments

• Balance online and face-to-face teaching methods

• Engage collaboratively with academic staff and students

• Lead course development and academic discussions

Requirements:

• Completed doctorate in psychology or a related discipline

• Evidence of successful instructional practice

• Experience with online learning formats

• Ability to work collaboratively in an academic setting

• Knowledge of the graduate programs in Educational Psychology
