Engage students with essential computing skills as a Sessional Computer Programming Instructor at Ambrose University for the Winter 2027 semester. You’ll guide learners through the fundamentals of computers and programming.
In this contract role, you will teach the CS 115 course and prepare course materials while fostering a collaborative environment with science faculty. Successful candidates will display a commitment to high-quality instruction and the integration of diverse perspectives into their teaching approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare syllabi for Introduction to Computers and Programming
• Instruct weekly classes and tutorials on computing
• Evaluate and provide grades for student assignments
• Coordinate efforts with other science faculty members
• Share Christian perspectives in the curriculum (if applicable)
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Experience in teaching undergraduate courses in computer science
• Strong background in programming and technology
• Dedication to student-centered teaching methods
• Must be located in Calgary, AB area
