Become a Dance Fundamentals Instructor for Fall 2026 at Ambrose University. Engage students in classical, contemporary, and jazz dance techniques in a collaborative setting.
This sessional role focuses on delivering an enriching dance education through the DA 103 course. You will design course content, evaluate student progress, and foster a positive learning environment. Your expertise in dance and commitment to student-centered teaching are essential in this dynamic position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement weekly dance instruction
• Evaluate and grade student work regularly
• Develop comprehensive syllabi for the course
• Facilitate an informative and interactive learning atmosphere
• Teach the basics of dance anatomy and history
Requirements:
• Minimum Master’s degree or significant experience
• Previous success in teaching dance at the undergraduate level
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty
• Proven skills in choreography and dance performance
• Must reside in the Calgary region
