This role involves managing student internship programs, including cold calling employers and coordinating placements with educational institutions. You'll present workshops to boost student awareness and foster connections with potential employers. A critical aspect of this position is establishing long-lasting relationships with stakeholders such as students, parents, and Indigenous communities to enhance CAREERS’ impact in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage recruitment for student internship opportunities
• Coordinate school placements and monitor student success
• Conduct workshops to promote CAREERS’ programs
• Build partnerships with employers and community stakeholders
• Assist with CAREERS events to promote initiatives
Requirements:
• Relevant education or experience in career development
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Experience in community engagement and partnership building
Support student internships by coordinating programs and engaging effectively with employers and the community.
