ACLRC seeks a passionate lawyer to spearhead public legal education across Alberta. In this one-year contract role, you will develop workshops and resources while mentoring students and educators. Strengthening partnerships with diverse organizations is essential to expanding ACLRC's educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and enhance public legal education programs
• Develop workshops, presentations, and online resources
• Build impactful partnerships with schools and organizations
• Mentor articling students and volunteers effectively
• Address emerging legal and human rights topics creatively
Requirements:
• JD or LLB and Law Society of Alberta membership
• Experience in educational program design and delivery
• Strong knowledge of Canadian constitutional law
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for diverse audiences
