Engage learners as a Working Holiday Instructor at Robertson College in Calgary. Share your passion for education and cultural exchange while teaching valuable English language skills and workplace readiness.
This part-time instructor role focuses on delivering immersive instruction in a supportive environment, running from August 4 to September 11, 2026. Qualified candidates should have an undergraduate degree, a recognized TESL certification, and two years of experience teaching English as an Additional Language. You will develop lesson plans, assess student performance, and collaborate with staff to enhance the participant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging, face-to-face lessons based on assigned curriculum
• Prepare relevant materials and lesson plans for instruction
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to students
• Keep accurate records of attendance and performance
• Collaborate with student support teams to assist learners
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree from a recognized institution
• TESL Canada-recognized training with practicum
• Minimum two years of EAL teaching experience
• Experience in training delivery is an asset
• Strong organizational and communication skills
