Education Lead

The Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre (ACLRC) is seeking a dynamic lawyer and educator to lead our public legal education programs across Alberta.

, and enjoy developing engaging educational programs, delivering workshops, and building meaningful community partnerships, we'd love to hear from you.

• Lead and grow ACLRC's public legal education programs
• Develop and deliver workshops, presentations, and online learning resources
• Build partnerships with schools, community organizations, governments, and employers
• Expand our fee-for-service education and training initiatives
• Mentor articling students, educators, and volunteers
• Help shape innovative learning on emerging legal and human rights issues

• JD or LLB and membership with the Law Society of Alberta
• Eligibility to act as Principal for articling students
• Experience designing and delivering educational programs
• Strong knowledge of Canadian constitutional law, civil liberties, and human rights
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to make complex legal concepts accessible to diverse audiences

Calgary, Alberta (Hybrid)

Full-time | One-Year Contract (with potential extension, funding dependent)

$80,000–$100,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package
