Position: In-Person Teaching for ENEE 355
Become a Sessional Instructor for ENEE 355:
Introduction to Energy and the Environment at the University of Calgary. This role involves teaching undergraduate engineering students in-person during Fall 2026.

The Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering seeks a qualified candidate to teach this course. You will prepare engaging lecture and tutorial sessions focused on energy technologies and their environmental impacts. This position also includes maintaining course materials and managing assessments effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach ENEE 355 to undergraduate students

• Prepare and deliver lecture and tutorial sessions

• Maintain course materials and assessments

• Participate in departmental meetings as required

• Engage in teaching workshops for professional development

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in Engineering

• Active P.Eng. designation preferred

• Background in relevant subject matter

• Teaching experience with undergraduates in engineering

• Comfort with in-person instruction
