The University of Calgary seeks dedicated Sessional Instructors for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027. Candidates must hold a PhD in Geography and possess experience teaching at the undergraduate level. You will contribute to student learning while potentially offering courses on planning in the Canadian city and geographic information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach GEOG 330, Geographies of Europe, online
• Instruct UBST 451, Planning in the Canadian City, in-person
• Deliver GEOG 482, Geographic Information Systems, in-person
• Develop course materials and assessments
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
Requirements:
• PhD in Geography required
• Teaching experience at the university level
• Availability for the specified course times
• Submit a current CV and teaching evaluations
• Provide three references for the application
