Description
The Department of Geography invites applications for Sessional Instructors to teach the following courses.

Fall 2026 (Monday, August 24, 2026 - Thursday, December 24, 2026)- GEOG 330 - LEC 02 - Geographies of Europe (Web-Based Instruction)
- UBST 451 - LEC 01 - Planning in the Canadian City (W 6:00 PM - 8:45 PM, In Person)
- GEOG 482 - LEC 01 - Geographic Information Systems and Science (TR 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM, In Person)
- PhD in Geography
- Experience teaching undergraduate courses at a university level
Salary information is governed by the Collective Agreement between the Faculty Association of the University of Calgary and the Governors of the University.
Application ProcessAll applicants must provide a letter specifying the course(s) and session(s) of interest (in order of preference) and outlining qualifications to teach each. Applicants who have taught in the Department within the past two years need not provide anything further.
More information may be requested later in the selection process.
