Starland Colony School is hiring a full-time Elementary Generalist Teacher for grades Kindergarten through 9, starting August 26, 2026. Focus on engaging learners in a multi-grade classroom experience.

We are looking for an energetic and self-directed teacher for a probationary position. The role entails delivering the Alberta curriculum while providing an inclusive learning environment. Strong management and teaching strategies are key to meeting diverse learning needs at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the Alberta curriculum for grades K-9

• Engage learners in a supportive atmosphere

• Create developmentally appropriate learning environments

• Integrate educational technology effectively

• Differentiate lessons for varied learner needs

Requirements:

• A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate is mandatory

• ESL training and experience required

• Strong skills in classroom management

• Experience in Hutterite Colony schools is beneficial

• Proven communication and collaboration abilities
