Seasonal Museum Interpreter

Engage visitors with history as a Seasonal Museum Interpreter at Heritage Park. Relaying stories from Western Canada's past, you will create memorable experiences in our unique exhibits.
In this role, you'll immerse guests in the fascinating history spanning from the late 1800s to the 1950s. You will educate through engaging demonstrations, storytelling, and hands-on activities in themed areas, both indoors and outdoors. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about transportation and resource history and is skilled at public speaking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Educate visitors on Western Canadian history and traditions
• Deliver hands-on programs and interpretive activities
• Prepare assigned exhibits and ensure artifact care
• Foster friendly guest interactions and a welcoming atmosphere
• Uphold safety standards and create immersive experiences
Requirements:
• Enrollment or completion of secondary education
• Experience in customer service or museum education
• Knowledge of Western Canadian automotive history preferred
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
