Teach French in a dynamic environment at the University of Calgary's Continuing Education. We are looking for enthusiastic instructors for the academic year.
The University of Calgary is recruiting contract instructors to deliver French courses designed for various skill levels. Instructors will guide adult learners through essential language components, from basic conversations to more complex grammar topics. Successful candidates should have a solid background in teaching second languages and demonstrate fluency in both French and English.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute effective lesson plans
• Utilize Desire2
Learn and Zoom for course delivery
• Engage students in interactive language exercises
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student assignments
• Support learners in achieving their language goals
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields required
• Essential experience in second language teaching
• Fluent in both French and English
• Experience with e-learning tools like D2L and Zoom
• Certification in language teaching or adult education preferred
