Become an Instructor for the Working Holiday Program at Robertson College in Calgary. Empower students through effective English language training and support their cultural immersion during this engaging six-week program.
This contract position runs from August 4 to September 11, 2026, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing participants' English skills and facilitating their understanding of Canadian culture. Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree, a TESL Canada-recognized qualification, and at least two years of English teaching experience. Responsibilities include lesson planning, student assessment, and providing individualized feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach face-to-face interactive lessons utilizing provided materials
• Track and assess student progress regularly
• Maintain open communication and respond to student inquiries
• Prepare supportive instructional materials to enhance learning
• Work alongside faculty and staff to enrich student support
Requirements:
• A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Completed TESL certification with teaching practicum
• Two years of experience in teaching English
• Familiarity with learning management systems
• Proven ability to work collaboratively
