Position: Sessional Instructor - OBHR 317 Multiple Lectures, Fall 2026, Haskayne School of Business

Description

The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Fall 2026 OBHR 317 (Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources). Classes in the Fall 2026 semester run from September 1 to December 4, 2026. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between December 8 to December 18, 2026, if applicable.

OBHR 317 (Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources)

LEC 02 Monday / Wednesday 12:30pm - 1:45pm

LEC 03 Monday / Wednesday 2:00pm - 3:15pm

LEC 05 Tuesday / Thursday 8:00am - 9:15am

LEC 06 Tuesday / Thursday 9:30am - 10:45am

The calendar description of the course:
"Examines individual, interpersonal and group processes to explain behaviour in organizations to better predict employee behaviour, and to interpret how context influences such behaviour. Topics may include motivation, groups and teams, decision-making, personality, power and influence, negotiation, leadership and stress."

Qualifications

  • A graduate degree (MBA, MSc, DBA, or PhD) is required.
  • Work experience in a relevant field is an asset.
  • Preference will be given to an applicant with previous experience teaching this course
