The Department of Physics and Astronomy within the Faculty of Science invites applications for a Fall 2026 Term PHYS 369 Sessional Instructor.

The successful candidate will have responsibilities for lecture instruction and any other associated duties for this 3-unit course, including laboratory and tutorial components.

PHYS 369 provides a study of wave motion as applied to acoustics, geometric and physical optics, and radiant energy transfer. Traditional and modern applications.

Monday, Aug 24, 2026, to Thursday, Dec 24, 2026.

All course components will be delivered in person.

TuTh 12:30 - 13:45.

The successful candidate(s) should hold a MSc or PhD in Physics or a closely related field and have a demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness and engagement with students.

Applicants who have taught as a sessional instructor in the Faculty of Science may choose to only submit a cover letter and current CV.
