Position: Full-Time Grade 5 Teacher

Green Dome Islamic School is seeking a passionate educator for a full-time Grade 5 teaching position for the  school year. In this role, you will deliver the Alberta Education curriculum, nurture student’s social-emotional development, and integrate technology in a hands-on learning approach. Your commitment to communication and collaboration with students, families, and colleagues will enhance the learning atmosphere at our school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design engaging, hands-on learning experiences for Grade 5

• Deliver the Alberta Education curriculum across core subjects

• Foster student growth in literacy and numeracy

• Collaborate with families to support student success

• Integrate technology and diverse instructional strategies

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Background in Elementary Education preferred

• Ability to conduct Criminal Record and Child Intervention Checks

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Passion for student success in a faith-based setting
