Teach Logic I at the University of Calgary as a Sessional Instructor in Winter 2027. Engage students with your expertise in logic and enhance their reasoning skills.
The Department of Philosophy seeks an instructor for PHIL 279 LEC 2, scheduled from January 11 to April 13, 2027. Ideal candidates have a PhD or relevant professional experience, strong teaching history, and expertise in the subject matter. This role is crucial for delivering quality education to undergraduate students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach PHIL 279 Logic I course MWF from 1:00 to 1:50 PM
• Develop course materials and assessments
• Facilitate engaging discussions in the classroom
• Provide feedback on assignments and exams
• Support students in understanding course concepts
Requirements:
• PhD in Philosophy or related field
• Experience teaching at the university level
• Expertise in logic and reasoning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Teaching evaluations to demonstrate effectiveness
Be instrumental in shaping the philosophical understanding of students at the University of Calgary.
