Overview
Delta West Academy is seeking an ECS specialist to inspire student learning through inquiry and experiential activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Kindergarten class in the afternoons and will team-teach the class with another teacher.
Responsibilities- Lead and co-teach the Kindergarten program in the afternoons, collaborating with another teacher to support student learning.
- Engage students through inquiry-based and experiential learning, using a variety of modalities and resources.
- Contribute to a collaborative classroom culture and participate in mentorship and support from administration and senior teaching staff.
DWA is an independent school with Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 students on one campus, with a small student-teacher ratio of about 10:1 and a strong community spirit.
Qualifications- Current Alberta Interim Certificate or Alberta Professional Certificate.
