The University of Calgary's Werklund School of Education is seeking a term certain Sessional Instructor for its graduate programs. Candidates should hold a PhD or EdD in psychology or a related field, with proven teaching and leadership experience. The position offers the chance to work collaboratively within a dynamic educational environment and involves teaching a graduate-level practicum in Counselling Psychology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach EDPS 647:
Practicum in Counselling Psychology I
• Develop engaging course materials for both online and in-person formats
• Guide graduate students through supervised field experiences
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance course delivery
• Stay updated on educational psychology principles and practices
Requirements:
• Completed doctorate in psychology or related field
• Registration as a psychologist
• Successful teaching experience in educational settings
• Familiarity with online educational methodologies
• Capacity for effective collaboration in a team-oriented environment
