The University of Calgary seeks a Sessional Instructor for the Winter 2027 term in Educational Psychology. Focus on teaching graduate courses both online and on campus, while engaging with diverse learners.
This position within the Werklund School of Education requires a PhD or EdD in a related field. Successful candidates will have experience in online education and classroom management. A commitment to collaborative teaching is essential, alongside knowledge of educational psychology specializations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach EDPS 693.10 course on mental health interventions
• Develop engaging online and in-person course materials
• Foster a collaborative educational environment
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development
Requirements:
• Doctorate in psychology or related field
• Proven experience in teaching higher education
• Familiarity with online/distance education strategies
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills
• Understanding of educational psychology programs
