Educational Psychology Sessional Instructor

The Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary seeks an experienced Sessional Instructor for EDPS 760:
Evidence-Based Consultation for Intervention. Teach online and on-campus courses from January to April 2027.

This term certain position targets candidates holding a completed doctorate in psychology or related fields. You should exhibit strong teaching and leadership in educational settings, coupled with experience in online and blended education formats. The emphasis is on developing advanced problem-solving consultation skills through practical, hands-on learning strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging online and on-campus graduate courses

• Guide students in consultation skills through role play

• Conduct assessments on consultation problem-solving effectiveness

• Aid in plan development, evaluation, and recycling

• Foster collaborative and innovative learning environments

Requirements:

• Doctorate in psychology or a related field

• Proven teaching experience in educational settings

• Familiarity with online and blended education formats

• Ability to work collaboratively in educational frameworks

• Knowledge of Educational Psychology programs
