Glenmore Christian Academy seeks a passionate Junior High Art Teacher to inspire creativity in students from grades 6 to 9. Under the mentorship of the Jr. High Principal, you will not only teach art but may also engage in Social Studies and provide extracurricular support. This term contract spans from August 26, 2026, to April 30, 2027, with a chance for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach art to students in grades 6 to 9

• Incorporate Biblical values in daily lessons

• Develop effective teaching strategies for diverse learners

• Assist in extracurricular activities to enhance student experience

• Collaborate with staff as a member of a professional learning community

Requirements:

• Agreement with GCA Statement of Faith

• Bachelor of Education degree

• AB Permanent or Interim Teaching Certificate

• Background in art education required

• Strong communication and organizational skills
