This full-time position is based in Calgary, at both the Environmental Learning Centre and the Cookhouse. The coordinator will lead the Learning Naturally program and oversee summer day camps, while collaborating with Alberta Parks and community partners. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in environmental education, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Learning Naturally program bookings and scheduling
• Coordinate summer day camp activities and registration
• Collaborate with Alberta Parks for educational program development
• Lead Teacher Orientations and facilitate educational programs
• Track program statistics and prepare reports
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Education or related field
• 2+ years in outdoor education programming
• Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with group management in outdoor settings
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
