Adjunct Instructor in High Performance Design

As a member of SAIT’s Continuing Education team, you will utilize your specialized knowledge in energy-efficient building practices to create effective educational experiences. Your responsibilities include lesson preparation, classroom management, and ongoing student support. Fostering innovative teaching methods and collaborating with colleagues will enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, and exams

• Keep accurate records for grading and attendance

• Manage positive learning environments in classrooms

• Provide supportive advice and guidance to students

• Complete mandatory training sessions for instructors

Requirements:

• Minimum post-secondary Diploma in a relevant field

• Demonstrated knowledge in sustainable construction

• Previous teaching or training experience

• Proficiency in standard office software

• Ability to deliver and interpret curriculum effectively
