Become a vital part of SAIT's Continuing Education team as an instructor in High Performance Design and Construction. This role allows for flexible scheduling and impactful teaching.

The Continuing Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) at SAIT is looking for experienced instructors to elevate learners in High Performance Design. This contract role focuses on managing the learning process while fostering a supportive environment for diverse adult learners. Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in building science and sustainable design practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, quizzes, and lab activities based on course outlines

• Track attendance and manage grading processes

• Create a positive learning atmosphere in the classroom or lab

• Offer tailored support and resources to students

• Stay connected with relevant industry sectors

Requirements:

• Minimum diploma in related fields like Construction Management or Engineering

• Demonstrated experience in energy-efficient design practices

• Proven instructor experience in adult learning environments

• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems is a plus

• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
