Coordinator for Outdoor Education Programs

Drive high-quality outdoor education at Teen Ranch as the Program Coordinator. This position is essential in creating meaningful experiential learning for school groups through engaging programs.

As the Outdoor Education Program Coordinator, you will develop and lead programs in collaboration with the Toronto Catholic District School Board. You will plan and oversee camps during school closures, ensuring the utmost safety and quality in program delivery. Providing leadership and training for staff, you will also foster partnerships and maintain standards across all activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operations of the outdoor education program

• Adapt programs to meet educational standards and values

• Facilitate communication with school contacts and organizing logistics

• Train and support program staff in delivery and engagement

• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements

Requirements:

• Education in Recreation, Education, or related field

• Proven experience in outdoor education contexts

• Strong leadership and communication abilities

• Current First Aid/CPR certification required

• Valid Class G driver's license preferred
