Join the Werklund School of Education as a Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in School-Based Mental Health. Positioned as either Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, you will spearhead research aimed at bridging mental health supports in educational systems. Your focus will be on creating systemic changes for children and youth, leveraging collaboration across multiple faculties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct innovative research on mental health in schools
• Supervise graduate students and mentor faculty
• Develop major research initiatives and secure funding
• Translate research findings into actionable school policies
• Engage with community stakeholders in knowledge sharing
Requirements:
• Doctorate in a relevant field like counseling psychology
• Research background with a track record of publications
• Strong teaching skills at the undergraduate or graduate level
• Demonstrated funding success in previous roles
• Eligible for Tier II Chair, less than 10 years post-PhD
Drive change in school-based mental health systems and contribute valuable insights to the community.
