Montessori-Inspired Lead Teacher Needed

Join Fueling Brains Academy as a Lead Teacher in the vibrant Jumping Junipers Preschool classroom. This role requires a passion for early childhood education and a structured approach founded on Montessori principles for 3 to 5-year-olds.

As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating purposeful learning experiences that nurture children’s independence and critical thinking. Candidates must hold a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification and have at least 2 years of experience in relevant settings. You will also mentor the teaching team while engaging families in their children’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Left Brain curriculum and classroom dynamics

• Create developmental activities that promote critical thinking

• Support children’s routines and classroom responsibilities

• Observe and adapt to children's individual learning needs

• Build family connections through regular progress updates

Requirements:

• Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification

• Minimum 2 years working with preschool children

• Ability to engage and communicate effectively

• Strong organizational capacity in classroom setting

• Montessori experience is a strong asset
