We invite passionate and dedicated educators to join the Green Dome Islamic School team as a full-time Grade 5 Teacher, serving our vibrant and welcoming faith-based school community in Northeast Calgary. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is eager to inspire young learners, bring creativity into the classroom, and contribute meaningfully to a school environment rooted in respect, curiosity, and spiritual growth.

In this role, you will design and deliver dynamic, hands-on learning experiences across all core subjects, fostering a nurturing space where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to thrive. Your strong communication skills, commitment to student success, and enthusiasm for collaboration with families and colleagues will make you an exceptional fit for our team. Confidence in integrating technology and using diverse instructional strategies to meet the needs of all learners will be especially appreciated.

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) probationary position for the  school year. As a Grade 5 teacher, you will guide students through key early learning milestones while delivering the Alberta Education curriculum and promoting foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development within a caring and faith-centered setting.

Green Dome Islamic School is located in North East Calgary along Metis Trail and provides an Islamic learning environment that offers an accredited program of studies compliant with the Alberta Education curriculum. Green Dome is a Division I to III School that offers a wide variety of learning opportunities including regular classroom studies as well as foreign language and computer sciences.
