We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 1,2 or 3 Early Educator to join our team. This role involves spending part of the time in the classroom and part of the time supporting other rooms/centre with cleaning and laundry. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive and nurturing environment for our children…
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth
– Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play
– Foster a safe and inclusive environment where children feel comfortable to explore and learn.
– Guide children positively and constructively, promoting healthy social and emotional development.
Support Across the Daycare:
– Assist other classrooms as needed, providing additional support and ensuring consistency in care and education.
– Collaborate with other educators to maintain a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
– Adapt to the varying needs of different classrooms, offering assistance and resources where necessary.
– Assist in daily cleaning and laundry
Professional Conduct:
– Build and maintain healthy relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
– Communicate effectively with team members to support a collaborative working environment.
– Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of Level 1 certification in Early Childhood Education.
– Experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
– Flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments and needs.
