The  Haskayne School of Business  is currently seeking a Full-time Limited Term  Program Advisor, Entrepreneurship & Innovation  for approximately 24 months.

The Program Advisor, Entrepreneurship & Innovation is a member of the Haskayne Centres team within the Haskayne School of Business (HSB). The Program Advisor, Entrepreneurship & Innovation reports to the Associate Director, Haskayne Centres and collaborates with team members along with faculty, staff, students, alumni, industry partners and community volunteers to advance the priorities and objectives of the Haskayne Centres in alignment with the HSB Strategic Plan.

The Haskayne Centres are responsible for delivering impactful student experiences through thought leadership, learning opportunities and meaningful engagement with the community on campus, in Calgary and beyond. The Haskayne Centres currently include the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Canadian Centre for Advanced Leadership, the Westman Centre for Real Estate Studies, the Trico Foundation Social Entrepreneurship Centre as well as centre‑agnostic programs such as Propel and Real Deal.

Established through philanthropy and community investment, the Centres provide unique and transformative experiences at the intersection of students, faculty and the business community. Within this portfolio, the Program Advisor, Entrepreneurship & Innovation primarily manages the implementation and execution of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation programming and initiatives, working to improve knowledge retention and student engagement and to help students bridge the gap between theory and professional practice.

This position requires high‑level, discretionary decision‑making, the ability to communicate professionally with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders and the ability to work independently while keeping current with trends in experiential learning, entrepreneurship and innovation. Stressors include dealing with the demands of competing and concurrent deadlines, including managing multiple project implementations and large‑scale events simultaneously.

Due to the operational requirements of this position, the role is predominantly on‑campus. The primary working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., 7 hours per day (35 hours per week); however, flexibility is essential, including some evening and weekend work. This position is part of the AUPE Collective Bargaining Unit.

The Program Advisor, Entrepreneurship & Innovation is responsible for the successful execution of existing programs and continuous improvement of programs and initiatives, under the direction of the Associate Director, Haskayne Centres and with the support of the Haskayne Centres team. This position manages programs through the entire programming cycle, including needs assessment/diagnostic, design, delivery, evaluation, and reporting. This process involves extensive stakeholder engagement, data collection and effective project management.

Program and Project Management

Consults with the Haskayne Centres team and stakeholders to determine programming objectives and takes responsibility for planning the scope and format of programming.[LB4.1][BR4.2]

Fully responsible for the planning and execution of multiple initiatives, including large scale events and programming that are evolving and long‑term in nature; the focus is on relevant, meaningful community engagement and impactful student experiences connected to these opportunities.

Increases awareness of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation across all programs (MBA, Master of Management, Master of Finance, BComm).
