Become part of the Reg Erhardt Library's User Services Team at SAIT as a Library Technician I. Provide essential library services and support in a diverse public space during evenings and weekends.
This role is designed for passionate candidates who can independently balance operational tasks and exceptional patron service. You will respond to reference queries, guide users through resources, and assist with circulation services. Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to reference inquiries from library patrons
• Assist users with Library Search and e-Resources
• Provide circulation and client account services
• Inform users about library policies and resources
• Enforce library rules on food and noise
Requirements:
• Library Technician Diploma or equivalent experience
• Extensive knowledge of modern reference sources
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems
• Experience serving a diverse community with empathy
