Elevate early childhood education as the Lead Teacher for Junior Preschool at Left Brain in Calgary, Alberta. Drive child development, communication, and independence through engaging, Montessori-inspired learning.
As a Lead Teacher at Left Brain, you will create a nurturing and structured environment for children 19 months to 3 years old. Your expertise in early childhood education and effective communication will foster independence, confidence, and vital learning experiences. Collaborate closely with Group Educators to maintain a cohesive program and support each child's individual learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily routines and structured learning blocks
• Design engaging lesson plans based on executive function
• Foster independence and positive peer interactions
• Observe, document, and assess child development
• Build partnerships with families through daily updates
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Minimum 2 years of early learning experience
• Valid provincial ECE Certification
• Familiarity with Montessori or play-based learning
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
