Part Time Literacy and Numeracy Teacher

Location: Canmore

Become a vital part of Canadian Rockies Public Schools as a part-time Literacy and Numeracy Teacher. This temporary position supports K-8 students through individualized instruction and best practice collaboration.

The ideal candidate will embody the Alberta Teaching Quality Standard while working in a dynamic role. Responsibilities include providing literacy and numeracy support, assisting students and educators, and contributing to Individual Program Plans (IPPs). You will engage in team teaching and offer targeted support to help various learners succeed in the K-8 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support literacy and numeracy programming K-8

• Assist teachers and educational assistants effectively

• Teach whole class, small groups, and individual students

• Contribute to Individual Program Plans (IPPs)

• Participate in team teaching initiatives

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the Alberta Teaching Quality Standard

• Experience with K-8 educational practices

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
