Junior Preschool Lead Teacher Position

Join Left Brain Academy as the Lead Teacher for Junior Preschool in Calgary, Alberta. Shape young minds through developmentally appropriate, Montessori-aligned learning experiences.

In this full-time role, you will anchor the homeroom for children aged 19 months to 3 years. With your knowledge of child development, you will create a vibrant, structured learning environment that enhances problem-solving, communication, and emotional skills. Collaborate effectively with Assistant Teachers to ensure continuity of care and an engaging classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement daily routines and structured lesson plans

• Create an environment that encourages curiosity and independence

• Supervise and support child development in daily interactions

• Maintain accurate progress records and communication with families

• Participate in team planning and mentorship sessions

Requirements:

• ECE Diploma or Degree from a recognized institution

• At least 2 years of relevant experience

• Provincial ECE Certification required

• Experience with curriculum design in early learning

• Strong skills in communication and team collaboration
