The Paperny Family JCC is a vibrant non-profit recreation center dedicated to providing social, educational, recreational, and cultural programming to individuals and families of all ages, stages, and backgrounds. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated, full-time Early Childhood Educators to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by creating engaging learning environments and assisting with daily activities. This position offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability while making a meaningful impact on our community’s youngest members.

• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Support classroom management and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all children
• Engage children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and educational exercises
• Collaborate with team members to monitor children’s progress and address individual needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and equipment
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children’s activities and well-being
• Follow all safety protocols and licensing regulations related to early childhood education.

• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development best practices
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs
• Strong communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members
• Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and schedules
• Computer literacy for documentation, record keeping, and communication purposes
• Leadership qualities with the ability to guide children through learning experiences
• Time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Writing skills for maintaining accurate records and reports

• Secondary School (preferred)
• Level 3 Early Childhood Educator (required)
