Your role will be centered at West 85th, collaborating with fellow educators to engage children in meaningful play and classroom activities. You’ll ensure children feel safe as they navigate daily routines while helping them develop self-regulation and nurturing relationships with peers. Your observations will inform teaching practices and create a supportive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the teaching team with daily learning activities

• Supervise children during transitions and routines

• Encourage children’s confidence through play and exploration

• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

• Collaborate with families and educators positively

Requirements:

• Certification as an Alberta Early Childhood Educator

• Preferred experience with preschool children

• Familiarity with early childhood development

• Patient and supportive demeanor

• Strong ability to work in a team
